About Whitworth

A Home From Home Childcare Setting

Opened in the Spring of 2026, Whitworth becomes our second setting. Maintaining our pride of carefully designed, dedicated rooms for babies and toddlers, a separate meal and changing space, a conservatory used for arts & crafts, a far larger garden and a currently under development sensory room; Whitworth allows us to elevate our high quality care even more.

The larger garden provides added space for gardening and digging, a natural seating area and more space for running and physical exercise. The patio allows for trycing, balance bikes, hop scotch, messy play and more. The tall trees also provide the children in the garden a sense of adventure, shade and importantly privacy.

The sensory room aims to be a room of comfort and calmness. Particularly for children with SEND or in high emotions. The use of gentle dimmer lighting, soft materials and natural sounds will help calm minds and relax emotions.

Whitworth also benefits from a park, Seven Fields, in very close proximity, with only one minor cul-de-sac road to cross. This allows us to continue our strong focus on outdoor exploration and playground play. Children enjoy daily opportunities to explore and connect with nature.

Whitworth truly takes our setting to the next level and can provide as much, if not more benefit, structure and facilities than a nursery, while experiencing the warmth, care and nurturing atmosphere of a home-from-home environment.

About the Team

Experienced, Caring and Dedicated

We are proud to have a dedicated and highly skilled team who truly embody the values at the heart of Seedlings’ Tale. Each member brings patience, warmth and attentiveness to their role, creating an environment where children feel secure, understood and genuinely cared for.

This sense of safety and connection is reflected in our Ofsted report:

“They frequently snuggle up to the childminder and her assistants and demonstrate that they feel happy, safe and emotionally secure in their care.”

It is this emotional security — alongside thoughtful teaching and guidance — that underpins everything we do.

Nawal Darhali
Ofsted Childminder & Owner

16 years of experience working and studying in early years education. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Gloucestershire University, an Ofsted Registered Childminder and previously held positions such as Toddler Room Lead and Sessions Co-ordinator at Nurseries.  Nawal brings both experience and heartfelt commitment to early years education. She chose to move from a nursery to setup an environment in a smaller setting in order to play a more personal and meaningful role in young children’s development.

With years of experience, she understands the importance of balancing structure with creativity, curiosity and joy. Nawal also has extensive experience supporting children with SEND and is deeply committed to inclusive, individualised care.

Carefully manages her time between the settings ensuring quality, care and communication with parents remain at a high standard.

Poppy Mason
Manager, Ofsted Childminder

Becoming a mother was a pivotal moment for Poppy. Previously in the motor industry for 10+ years, it was when it came to leaving her son in a nursery, which had 25 children in a room, that she realised not only did she want more for him but herself. Being able to provide babies and toddlers more one-to-one care and emotional support to give them the best start in life. This resonated strongly with our morals at Seedlings’ Tale and in early 2025, she decided to join our London setting as a trial. She has since gone from strength to strength, completing her Level 3 and gaining her Registration as an Ofsted Childminder in a short time.

Her calm, gentle yet playful nature creates a warm and engaging environment, where both children and parents build strong trusting relationships with her.

Poppy pours her heart into everything she does and constantly challenges and educates herself to bring fresh ideas and activities to the setting and ensuring each day is fun, enriching and unique for the children.

Nathifa North
Childminding Assistant

After a career in corporate compliance, Shaimaa sought a more meaningful path and joined us in early 2025. It quickly became clear that early years care was where she truly belongs.

Her genuine enthusiasm, attention to detail and thoughtful communication style are warmly received by both children and parents. She is currently completing her Level 3 qualification and looks forward to becoming Ofsted registered in the near future.
